Scaling Up 2022
PRODUCER INQUIRY

Food Hub Producer Applications will CLOSE for the season on May 15th, 2022. 

As we approach another busy summer, we will not be onboarding producers to the Food Hub after May 15th due to limited capacity. Onboardings will resume on October 1st, in the order in which applications are received. If you'd like to submit an application, please continue scrolling for more information. 
Normal Business Hours for Producer Access to the Hub
​Mon (Closed), Tues (8:00-5:00), Thurs (11:00-3:00), Fri (9:00-12:00)
Wed (8:00-10:00) Producer Deliveries only
Wed - Customers Pickup Orders at Food Hub (12:00-6:30) &
Wed Satellite Locations: Deep Gap (3:30-5:30pm) and West Jefferson  (4-6pm) 

Thurs - Customers Pickup Orders at Satellite Locations in:
Banner Elk (3:30-5:30pm) and Blowing Rock (4-6pm)

Getting Started as a Food Hub Producer


​Is the Food Hub right for your business?
The Food Hub is a market for existing small farms, food, and garden businesses. If you are in search of information on how to start your business, we suggest contacting the Entrepreneurial program at NC State, and referencing the NCDA Starting a home-based business resource.

Use this flow chart to learn if the Food Hub is a good fit for your farm/business.

All Food Hub producers must label their products. View packaging and labeling requirements here.

The Food Hub accepts applications on a rolling basis, but our onboarding season is from October 1st through April 30th. Applications submitted from May 1st through September 30th will be addressed when our onboarding season begins in October, in the order in which they are received.
